Visitors to this Park are rewarded with views of wildlife basking along the shores of the verdant Indian Ocean.
This short tour begins with pick-up from your place of residence to Zanzibar Airport for an early morning flight straight to the spectacular Saadani National Park. This flight departs between 06:30am and 08:00am and takes only 15 minutes. Additionally, visitors can depart from Dar-es-Salaam to join this trip. On landing at the Saadani National Park, you will be met and greeted by our professional safari driver for a full day guided game drive. Expect a wide range of wildlife ranging for the Giraffes, Zebras, wildebeests, warthogs, giants-elephants, Cape buffaloes and leopards among others.
Take a short break from this rewarding game drive to enjoy a hot meal within one of the outstanding Restaurants or Safari Lodges in the wilderness, then continue with the game drive until late afternoon. This increases your chances of spotting more of this Coast Protected Area’s wildlife.
If time and weather allows, you will be driven to the stunning picnic site overlooking River Wami to embark on the boat safari. This activity provides amazing views of hippos and crocodiles as well as other animals drinking along the banks.
